3 years later, I am close to passive income!

Can't believe it's been three years since I last posted to this blog. My elusive search for a passive income program was abandoned way back in March 2013. Later that year I found something I could truly be passionate about, and I haven't looked back since! Unlike every other program mentioned in my previous posts, the company I am now focused with is here for the long haul. KaratBars is 6 years strong, with a flawless performance of on-time payments and prompt product delivery across 120 countries. Because I have now found a company that I can trust for my future financial security, I am well on my way to achieving that elusive dream of passive income! By putting in the effort now to build a solid team with a solid company, my future is assured. The KaratBars product cannot be improved on....there will never be 25 carat gold! Not only am I building my future income with the KaratBars business, but I am also saving for the future by purchasing their 999.9 pure, gold bullion bars. This is my savings plan. You see, gold is real money, and historically has held its purchasing power, making it the perfect hedge against inflation. Our fiat paper currencies have zero stored value, and are subject to devaluation every time our govts print more of it. The 1gm, 2.5gm and 5gm bars available from KaratBars are the ideal way for anybody to begin saving in gold. Buy as little or as much as you want, anytime. There is no pressure, and certainly no minimum purchase requirements with KaratBars. Why not open a free, no obligation savings plan account today, and explore the possibilities. SportArbs Debit Card.....a non-event

Well, March 1st has been and gone, and still not a single report of any member having received the promised debit card. This merely confirms many members suspicions that we have been fed lies and bs all along. The really annoying thing is that the site is still active and accepting new members, and presumably more new money. Time to write this one off and move on. There are current paying programs out there that may allow you to recover any losses in SportArbs.

SportArbs debit card coming?

After yet another agonising 3 months wait since I paid the card delivery fee as advised by SA, we have finally had contact from them again. Several members have reported receiving the below email: Hello, We are happy to inform you that on 20 December we started distributing SportArbs debit cards. We plan to send out all cards till 1 March, 2013. The envelope with your card will also contain an instruction on its activation and access to the new panel of your investment management. Best regards, http://SportArbs.com Maybe 2013 will be our year! Commiserations to those members who didn't consider the risk worthwhile, and failed to pay the delivery fee on time. Admittedly, the money is not in my bank yet, but at least there is good news for a change. Not too late to take advantage of this business, despite all the setbacks for us long-term members. The program is open to new membership, and I have it on good authority that they are paying new members. Deposits via Liberty Reserve only. SportArbs Debit Card.....this time??

Been some unexpected developments with SportArbs this last month, with news that a debit card may finally become a reality. After submitting my id documents some 20 months ago, they have at last been approved! Only catch is, there is a nominal fee for delivery. I have been advised that my cost (to Australia) is $34.80, payable only with Liberty Reserve. Not my favourite ecurrency, but I am making the effort to get some funds added and make the required payment. With a current balance in excess of $176k, I feel it is worth the risk! Still 5-6 weeks before anyone will really know for sure, as that is their advised delivery schedule. Been waiting over 3 years.....what's another 2 months?! Stay tuned.....the world will certainly know if this one finally comes good.
Safe investing, Aussiegold.

Capitol Gaming Trading House- how it doesn't work!

CapitolGaming....another failed venture! Fact is, the trading house was never going to generate the promised returns while the whole operation was so poorly managed. It appears the only funds available to develop the concept of CG, was the member contributions being collected. For more info on those behind this failure, please visit MyComputerSaysIamRich Enjoy!

SportArbs 2012.....still no debit card!

I checked my stats for this site earlier today, and noticed I am still getting SE traffic from visitors looking for current information on SportArbs. I therefore feel it is my duty to present the facts. 1) It has now been over 12 months since I applied for my debit card. Nothing! 2) It has now been almost 2 years since withdrawals were "disabled", pending the issue of debit cards. Despite that, there is "client feedback" on the site, which would indicate to unsuspecting visitors that payments are happening. Let me assure you, NO WITHDRAWALS have been processed since April 2010. 3)The site is still working, and will accept deposits. Please DO NOT be tempted! 4)The last admin update was posted in July 2011. Since that time I have sent several emails to "customer support" with no response. They used to be very prompt in responding to support issues, but now they don't bother. 5)My current active deposits total $87,362.70 with an available (withdrawable?) balance of $10,387.13. Daily interest is still accruing on active deposits. Anyone want to make me an offer for control of this account? Passive income really is becoming hard to find these days:-) If you are prepared to do a little "work" for your money, please explore the links to the left. Time for a Fresh Start

The start of the New Year is as good an excuse as any to start afresh. My "new direction" of early September proved to be yet another dead end! I won't go into details here about PropertyWikia, apart from the lesson learned there was that the scammers are getting extremely clever. That very "busy" site had many of us fooled! So, where to in the New Year? I am thinking that the truly passive income is an elusive dream online. Have been caught with a couple recently that promised "no sponsoring required". Gotta wonder why everybody is busy promoting them, if that truly is the case. Time to bail out of a few safelists etc, and get focused on what it really takes to build an income online. I have started with a few recommendations from a good friend, and am determined to do what is necessary in the new year to get some sort of ROI from each of those programs. Shouldn't be too difficult, as each program has mass appeal, and cost from just $15 to $30. Earnings are only limited by my efforts. Please see the links to the left for details of these programs. Have a blessed and prosperous 2012....I intend to!!

My new direction......PropertyWikia

I was expecting to post here last Sunday, with good news of yet another successful withdrawal from Primfix. After having my 15 day and 30 day plans profit paid out within minutes of requesting, I was optimistic about receiving the profits from my 45 day investment. Sadly, that hasn't happened. It seems once again my withdrawal request is the catalyst for a programs demise! Can't believe I have so much influence :-)

Lots of talk on their forum and FB page, but mostly negativity, and definitely no updates from admin to inform members of the situation. It is claimed Alertpay caused the problems, but we've all heard those excuses before......

For me personally, I think it is time to give this HYIP arena a miss. I am yet to find a genuine "investment" program online. If you have one you know is for real, feel free to let me know.

Anyone who is feeling the same way, and wants to take control of their own financial situation, I invite you to check out the opportunity available at PropertyWikia. It is not money for nothing....you will have to work at this one, but if you feel you have the ability to give away a free service to homeowners, specifically those selling their home, then do yourself a favor and check it out. After two weeks of intensive research into this business, I am convinced they are the real deal. PropertyWikia, set to become the facebook of real estate. Will you be a part of it? Skype me to chat about this exciting oportunity. Id:its2ezy.

Primfix....new arbitrage wagering pool

Primfix.com is the latest professionally presented arbitrage wagering pool. Apart from a well presented website, which generally gives little indication as to the integrity of the operators, there are a few unique features that impress me about this operation.
Firstly, the ease of interaction with admin and other members via FaceBook, and a basic email communication facility (member to member) within the members control area. I have tested both, and received a rapid reply using each method.
The program offers three timeframes for investment, all with a minimum deposit of just $10. Terms are 15, 30 and 45 days. Longer timeframe = higher return. I also like the fact that they are using AlertPay for deposits. If you have a pro acct at AlertPay, you can deposit via credit/debit card. This eliminates the delays and costs involved when funding some online ecurrencies like LR.
I have yet to have an investment mature, so can't comment on the timeliness of withdrawals. Lots of positive feedback at their FB page though, so I am approaching this one with a positive outlook.  If you would like to join me in what could prove a very profitable venture, please click the link just below the banner.
Happy investing,

Still signs of life at SportArbs

I was on the verge of giving up totally on this one, even though my active deposits are now over 12k and growing.
When I logged in today I was presented with the following update:

News from Headquarters
On the July 7th, 2011, Website Manager and his deputies were sacked by the headquarters. New manager will be appointed according to the outcomes of the meeting scheduled on July 15th. New team is to be set up within the next week. As from today, the situation regarding to the debit cards is under the direct control of the headquarters. Please be advised that next few weeks the updates will be available in English only.

Who knows what will come of it, but at this stage all I can do is continue to re-invest at every opportunity. When/if I ever get to withdraw, the whole world will know about it!

Cheers,
             aussiegold.

Sole Survivor.......SportArbs International

Since my last post here back in April '10 I have been pretty disillusioned with the whole HYIP arena. My dream of truly passive online income had been shattered by the demise of my key programs, and the rapid disappearance of all those that I had been evaluating. One, however, has stood the test of time and is still operating succesfully.

It continually surprises and delights me every time I click on the SportArbs website from my favourites, and the site appears in my browser!  No need to delete that one, like so many others I have during the last 12 months. Although SportArbs has had their share of problems, they have continued to maintain a quality site, and operate their program successfully, while keeping members updated. These updates have been infrequent at best, and not always what members wanted to hear, but the end result has been a continuation of the investment strategy as planned.

Many members had given up on this one due to the fact that withdrawals were stopped last April. Understandable I know, but while the site was still active, I maintained some faith that things would improve. After all, what did I have to lose? I couldn't withdraw my funds, so why not reinvest them at every opportunity, and watch my balance grow? One of my refs decided not to, and his $2300 has sat idle in his account since last July! I have continued to reinvest every 42 days, and my current active deposits now total over $4500. Not bad from an initial deposit of just $10, plus $140 in ref commissions!

So what, you say. It means nothing until you can actually withdraw funds successfully. I totally agree, and that is why the recent site upgrade is so exciting! Members now have a link in their control panel to order the SportArbs MasterCard, which is the ONLY method of withdrawing funds from the program. There is also an information link on the main page, headed "Debit Card". The introduction of the card is something that had been discussed in the updates over the last 6 months. Originally it was stated that the card would cost $100 plus delivery. It is now issued free to members with an active balance of $500 or more. I have submitted my application for the card and am awaiting confirmation that my documents are satisfactory. I will update here as soon as there is progress in that area.

If you previously opened an account with SportArbs, I would strongly recommend you take another look. I'm not sure whether the ref program is operational again yet, as some changes were hinted at in one of the updates, but please check out SportArbs today if you have any faith left at all  in the potential of online HYIPs.

Happy Investing!

The great PTVPartner Deception

The sudden disappearance of PTVPartners yesterday came as no surprise to some who have played this game for some time. To others it was a complete shock, and a bitter disappointment yet again. One elderly gentleman, driven to desperation by his situation, posted on a popular forum his intention to take his own life, and that of his wife. Such is the depth of despair some experience when their trust is broken in such a deceptive way. A sharp reminder that God is our provider, and putting such trust in mere men always leads to disappointment.

I will add more here as to the hows and whys of this debacle unfold. Suffice to say, treat any program listed on this site as having the potential to disappear just as quick. Enter this minefield at your own risk, and be prepared for some losses.......they will come!

More soon.

SportArbs, PTVPartners and referral commisions

Several key programs have failed in recent months blaming their demise, at least in part, on what they term "referral abuse". This week, both SportArbs and PTVPartners have taken action to prevent a similar fate. Both programs have cited referral abuse as the main concern to the continued viability of their operations.

It is interesting to note that SportArbs began their program with a 3 level referral structure, but after about 3 months switched to a single level. PTV on the other hand, began with a single level, paying 6%, and then switched to a 3 level! Just last week PTV dropped their referral program entirely, after a member poll in their forum indicated the majority of members agreed to drop it. Less than 200 members bothered to vote on the issue. My thoughts are that management had made the decision well prior to the poll, and was simply seeking confirmation from the member base. With talk that it was becoming detrimental to the programs' viability, of course members voted that way!

Changes at SportArbs:
I still quite like this program, but the timing of the changes last week really peeved me! I had my 1st withdrawal pending for over a week before the announcement was made about the changes. They did present a valid argument, giving a detailed explanation of what is really involved with moving funds in/out of ecurrency accounts so that they can be put to use actually creating a profit. Feel free to read the update under "PRESS" on their website.

The changes made are that new money into the program will not earn interest for 5 days after the deposit. Gives them time to put it to work with bookmakers. Fair enough. The other change is to withdrawals. These will be processed within 10-12 days, and will only be paid to their new visa card system. This is the bit that peeved me.....the cards will cost members $100-$120! I have canceled my $150 withdrawal and activated a new deposit with it. This is becoming a long-term project for me.

PTV Partner changes:
This one is pretty simple. No more referral commissions at all. No other changes to the actual program structure have been announced.....yet!

What is referral abuse?
The majority of HYIPs strictly forbid members opening multiple accounts, and many will go to great lengths (monitoring IPs etc) to prevent this. The problem is that a member will open one account, make a nominal deposit, then open a second acct using their ref link to make a more substantial deposit, thus earning for themselves a nice commission on their own deposit. Morally, I agree it is not a good thing, especially when the program was perhaps promoted by another member, who should have earned that commission. But why should this activity affect the viability of a program? Let's do the maths, based on 6% commission.

A member joins a certain program from a link he found on a website, and makes a 10k deposit. The referring member receives a $600 commission immediately.
The referring member deposits his commission into the program to earn interest. The program is now paying interest on $10600, but has only $10000 to work with. This should not be a problem, if the program is genuine and proper allowance has been made to accommodate the paying of commissions.

Another member joins the program, and opens a second acct from his own link in order to gain the commission for himself. Mathematically, it is no different to the 1st example, and should have absolutely no bearing on the viability of the program. When GNI announced its restructure (and ultimate closure) recently, referral abuse by major investors was cited as being a huge drain on their cashflow.

Apparently these members would have multiple accounts, and deposit large amounts into the program. After the 30 day minimum investment period, they were withdrawing in full, and redepositing the funds into different accounts, earning for themselves 6% bonus every time. I can understand this type of activity having an impact on a programs' cashflow. Perhaps better scrutiny of accounts, and maybe some sort of verification process, is necessary to eliminate it. Either way, if a program is properly administered, these issues should be dealt with long before they become a major issue, affecting the overall profitability of the program. Has PTV made the right decision? Time will tell, I guess, but I can't see too many members continuing their promotional efforts for them, without being rewarded. After all, 6% is a small price to pay for new business, especially under the referral model, where no payment is made before the new business is secured. I bet there are a lot of offline businesses who wish they had it so good........TV advertising is expensive!

Another interesting side note is that PTV openly stated in their FAQs that multiple accounts were permissable. Surely they realised the potential for referral abuse by setting this policy.

New Programs:
I have added a nice mix of programs to the list on the left. Something there for all players. Although I haven't completed my full DD on them all, I think they are worth a look. No favourites anymore....this race is getting too hard to call!

Happy investing:-)

GoldNuggetInvest....gone in 60 seconds!

Well, not really 60 seconds. It's been almost 2 months since the "recovery" plan was implemented, but it only took 60 seconds to read yesterdays' newsletter announcing the closure of the program, effective immediately!

Some valuable lessons to be learned here, not the least of which is no investment is ever risk-free! There are literally hundreds of members who have committed far more than they were happy to lose, on the premise of the "risk-free guarantee" under which the program operated. Although admin has stated all members not in profit will be refunded, so that no member will actually lose money, that has yet to become reality.

The big mistake I made here was falling for the lure of ongoing compounding. In reality, this has proved a big mistake. I am showing as in profit, but my accumulated balance in excess of 6k is now worthless. Nine months wasted, for a net return of less than $40 on my deposit of $1434!! Not happy Jan:-(

So, the new strategy is this, and is applicable to any and all online "investment" programs, regardless of the promises!

Withdraw initial deposit ASAP! This is absolutely critical. After that time, there is no longer any risk of losing money.

At every opportunity to withdraw, take 50% and roll over 50% to build capital.

Those who employed this strategy with GNI have done well. Many didn't, me included, and have ended up very disappointed. Lesson learned. Now for the discipline:-)

Update on Arbitrage Wagering Pools

Arbitrage wagering on sports events continues to be the big winner, bringing regular, risk-free passive income. Adding your funds to a recognised wagering pool is the only way to make this truly passive. Doing it yourself is not only time-consuming, but requires a greater commitment of funds than the minimum required to pool.

My best performer is still GoldNuggetInvest, now contributing $300 weekly to my income. It is one of a handful of quality programs that allow weekly withdrawals of profits earned. This program has helped me greatly, leading up to Christmas. I will continue compounding in the New Year.

If you are considering this one, I would get involved soon. The team at GNI are fast approaching the level of funding they feel is the maximum they are comfortable trading. When that happens, the program may well be closed to new members, and I have been advised that compounding will no longer be an option. That is expected to happen within 3 months, so my recommendation is jump in now, if you have $500+. Anything less and you won't have time to compound to a worthwhile amount. There are other quality programs not in the same situation for those of you with a smaller budget. SportArbs Intl. is one of them.

SportArbs is also doing well for me, but on a smaller scale. Averaging 40% every 6 weeks, so my small initial capital is increasing nicely. Be sure to set your deposit to 100% compounding for maximum benefit. Less than 80% compounding and you will not return a profit, as this company does not return your principal.

Genius Funds is another totally passive program that continues to perform, week after week. Averaging 6.2% weekly here, and my fund is fast approaching the next level ($500) which earns slightly more per week. Your principal is committed for a bit longer here, but the results are well worth it, especially if you don't need profits weekly. That is an option, but regular compounding makes a huge difference . Nice to know you have the option to take some funds when you need to.

I have another promising program I am trialling now. More on that one in my next update. Meanwhile, have a fantastic Christmas, and a very prosperous New Year!

Result from SportArbs Intl

My test spend at SportArbs matured on Sept 23. On checking my transactions, I noticed I was paid on 43 days, not 42. Not going to complain! Nett return was 45.8%.

Once my earnings were credited to my account, I had the opportunity to test the withdraw function. Disappointing to find a 1% fee is charged on withdrawals, minimum fee $3.00. On that basis, I would not recommend investing less than $100, unless you are happy to roll over for another 6 weeks.

After this 6 week trial, I now consider this program a safe, conservative investment vehicle, but still not in the league of GoldNuggetInvest.

Speaking of GNI, I successfully requested my 1st bank wire withdrawal this week. Will update here as soon as it hits my Aussie bank account.

Genius Funds continues to perform flawlessly, with automatic weekly compounding. Funds are tied up for a bit longer here, but the results are impressive! Click that blue banner on the left for details.

Another Arbitrage Wagering Pool

I have been evaluating this program for about a month now, and have decided to take the plunge with a test spend of $50.

Although I am convinced that the business model is sound, there are a few peculiarities about this program that intrigue me. These are things that you, as a potential investor, need to be made aware of.

Firstly, deposits here are only current for 6 weeks (42 days). Principal is not returned at the maturity date. For this reason, it is essential to understand compounding interest.

With a projected average daily earning of 2.1% (7 days/week) you will be sorely disappointed if you fail to select a high compounding rate. 100% is recommended.
Without compounding your return would be just $88.20 from a $100 investment! Remember, your principal is not returned. Why SportArbs allows this option is beyond me.

So, set compounding at 100% and the results are quite reasonable. According to their calculator on site, which works on the last 42 days actual return, $100 would gross a return of $137.64. Subtract your principal and you have a net profit of 37%+ in six weeks, which is certainly better than my bank!

This is a similar return to what GNI offers, and I feel is an option worth considering to diversify your protfolio. Feel free to open a no-obligation account, and perhaps make a deposit when you are familiar with the system.

SportArbs International Corp.

Update on SportArbs- Aug 18.

Some major web upgrades were implemented this week, mostly related to increased member security. This sort of thing helps boost my confidence in the legitimacy of the program.

Also changes to the referral system, which is now simply one level, a change from the previous 3. Another good move! A new plan is also being introduced, where investors can lodge funds for 210 days, an addition to the current 42 day plan. A higher percentage is offered, depending on the amount invested. Definitely worth a second look.

The Power of Compounding Interest

Compounding interest is a powerful earner, and that's why the banks use it all the time, especially on home mortgages. I know here in Australia banks calculate interest on the daily balance of a mortgage, and the total for the month is added to your account each month. That is why a fortnightly or even weekly payment can make a huge difference to the time it takes to pay off your loan.

Now, what if the shoe was on the other foot, and you were in a position to earn compounding interest? With GNI you can! Not daily, but definitely weekly, and believe me, it makes a huge difference to your investment.

Let me give you an example, using my GNI account deposit. These figures updated 20/07/09.

My initial deposit was $1434.00, eight weeks ago.
After 7 days I received $86.04 interest, or 6%
Had I not chosen to compound, that would be the same amount every week, earning me a total of $602.28 over the last 7 weeks. Not too shabby!

I did choose to compound, and have done so each week, as soon as the interest payment shows in my account. Today (I love Fridays!) my interest payment was $122.09, an increase of $36.05 over my first weekly payment of $86.04.
By continuing to compound each week, I will double my investment in just 13 weeks, at which time I will most likely withdraw a nice little bonus with which I can diversify my holdings.

Do hope you choose to join me on this exciting ride. Start with just $50 at GNI.
To find out what your deposit will be worth in 12 months, use this handy compound interest calculator. Remember, the yearly interest is 312%, compounding 52 times, to give 6% per week. You will be amazed at the results achieved by compounding weekly.

Current Program One

The first program I wish to evaluate is GoldNuggetInvest.

This is the only program I have committed what I consider serious funds to. By that I mean over $1000us. I have probably spent way more than that over the years as my path to wisdom slowly progressed! More on those programs in another post.

I will expand on the 8 qualifying points I mentioned in my previous post, as I reveal to you why I have spent funds to this one.

1) Is the business model viable.

GoldNuggetInvest uses member funds to finance their arbitrage wagering activities. I won't elaborate on how that works here, as full details are available on their website. Suffice to say, arbitrage wagering brings a guaranteed profit from every transaction. It is a legit activity, and although profits are derived from betting, arbitrage is certianly not gambling! Confused? Their website explains it all.

2) Are the returns realistic, considering the business model used.

The team at GoldNuggetInvest complete 250-300 arbitrage wagers weekly. On average 2-5% is realised on each one. A 6% weekly return to members is therefore quite achieveable.

3) Is it sustainable long-term.

While ever there are bookmakers taking bets on sports events and such, arbitrage opportunities will abound. Can't see that ending anytime soon.

4) Is the company itself legitimate.

I did a little research on this one, rather than simply relying on information from the website. A domain whois lookup confirms their online status. The fact that they recently made bank wire a deposit option further reinforces their credibilty. Not an iron-clad guarantee, I know. But I would not have sent the funds I did via an online payment processor. At least I can track where my funds ended up, should something go wrong here.

5) What is the risk-reward ratio.

To me, this simply means how long are my funds committed before I can recoup my investment, thus making the program "zero-risk".
To fully recover capital via interest earned takes just 17 weeks, without compounding.
Should you deposit sufficient funds so that your weekly interest is $50 or more, you can redeposit it into the program, thus compounding your returns. Capital would be earned back in approximately 14 weeks using this strategy.
Notwithstanding the above, your capital can be withdrawn after just 30 days participation. Interest payments are available for withdrawal weekly, subject to minimums, which varies according to deposit method used. For bank wire, min withdrawal is $100us.

6) Is it truly passive, or is some participation required.

No action is required of members apart from monitoring your account and deciding what to do with your weekly interest payment. Referring new members is optional, and a small commission is awarded when a referred member makes a deposit.

7) Are deposited funds safe.

This is a difficult one to ascertain for any online program. So far, so good! I will comment more after effecting a successful withdrawal.

8) What is the procedure for participation (deposit/withdraw options).

The company accepts funds from a variety of online payment processors, including Liberty Reserve, SolidTrustPay and StrictPay. As mentioned earlier, bank wire is also now an option. Whichever method used for deposits, must also be used for withdrawals. They do not operate as a currency exchanger between payment processors.

In summary, this program satisfies all my requirements for a truly passive income. My bank currently offers 4%pa. 6% weekly is a much better alternative!

Please visit the website to get a full understanding of how arbitrage wagering produces these results, and how you can benefit from this exciting activity.
